Wow, E3 here's again. Last year, I posted an E3 predictions video that nobody watched (except you, right? RIGHT!?)
Yayyyy.
This was my first time live tweeting something. Yesterday. I live tweeted the Ubisoft conference. I figured I'd use a fake company to get my feet wet before the real conference this morning.
I'm not going to go so far as to say I was "hyped" for the Nintendo press conference, but when you set your expectations low, it's easier to be impressed. Unfortunately, I set my expectations low and they were met. To a tee.
So, here's the summary of Nintendo's press conference this morning.
Super Smash Bros WiiU still exists, featuring Palutena (some character no one has even heard of) and Dark Pit (refer to previous parenthetic sequence).
Speaking of Dark Pit. Dark Samus?

I don't even want to kill myself right now.
OH WAIT!
So, Dark Pit and some random bitch are in the new Super Smash Bros, but we still have no new Metroid characters. Don't say Zero Suit Samus, she doesn't count. I had over ten minutes chambered about that and had to cut it out of the new RobTroid because it went on too long. In short; why is Kid Icarus, a series that nobody cares about, and when I say nobody, I mean no body, getting more attention than the beloved Metroid series? Simply put, Nintendo forgot Metroid existed. That still didn't stop them from adding Samus' power suit to every god damn character not in a Metroid game.
Hyrule Warriors. Who cares?
Legend of Zelda: WiiU. All we got was a shot of one landscape and a beamos chasing Link. Looks like a Zelda game.
Mario Party 10. Looks like Mario Party.
Splatoon. It's like Jet Grind Radio with swimming.
Amiibo. They're little toys you attach to your gamepad to play the game for you. It's a good way for Nintendo to cover their losses and cheat us out of more money. First, it's that we have to buy all the amiibo, then we have to purchase whatever expansion and DLC comes with them. Yay.
Xenoblade. Would be better if it was Metroid.
New Starfox. We got a blurry image. Would've been better if it was Metroid.
Yoshi Wooly World. It's like Kirby: Epic Yarn, but with Yoshi. On that note.
Kirby: Epic Yarn 2.
Mario Maker. It's a game where you delete the obstacles and enemies in a Mario game to make it easier.
